BIOGRAPHY

Marko Crnobrnja was born in Obrenovac in 1978 and graduated in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2005. Over the course of two decades, his artistic practice has been closely interwoven with pivotal events and personal milestones, transforming lived experience into a sculptural language that resonates within the contemporary art scene.

Exploring the phenomenon of growth and the shifting states of becoming, Crnobrnja develops works that oscillate between narrative and form, allowing the process of maturing itself to emerge as subject and material. His sculptures, marked by continuity and a distinct visual sensibility, extend beyond mere objecthood to open up a reflective space in which contemporary sculpture acquires new, alternative perspectives.
