BIOGRAPHY

Hanna Dujmović is a young-generation academic artist who has distinguished herself on the cultural scene in recent years with her continuous creative work.

Born in Sarajevo, she pursued her education at the Academy of Fine Arts in her hometown after graduating from high school, earning a degree in sculpture. During her studies, Hanna explored various styles and techniques of sculpture and painting, creating works that reflected her creative vision. Her work became recognized for its rich symbolism, layered themes, and surrealist elements. Her art has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide (USA, UK, Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia), as well as locally. She has participated in many projects, performances, and several artist residencies. Hanna Dujmović is an artist who is unafraid to push boundaries and explore new territories. In addition to painting, she has also experimented with other media such as sculpture and digital art. Her work encompasses various themes, historical motifs, philosophy, psychology, and contemporary social issues, with a touch of nostalgia depicted through childhood motifs. In 2024, she held seven solo exhibitions, including one in Hong Kong, participated in two residencies, and was a speaker at the TedxWomen talk, which was also published on the Global Ted platform. Her artwork has drawn the attention of collectors and art enthusiasts worldwide, and her paintings have become part of many public and private collections. Hanna Dujmović is an artist who continuously creates, inspired by the beauty of the world around us and the inner journey through the artistic process. Her constant exploration and expression through art have created a distinctive and deeply inspiring artistic signature. Hanna Dujmović is an artist who, through her work, offers not only visual pleasure but also a deeper insight into human nature and the world around us. She lives and works in Sarajevo and Belgrade.
